Responsibilities:

 

  1. To assist HOD in the preparation and proof-reading of all written materials, which include (but not limited to):
    • Department reports
    • Resort Living articles and messages
    • Preparation of speeches for the Chairman, President and other members of senior management
    • External letters, interdepartmental memos and other business correspondence
    • PowerPoint presentations
    • Press releases
  2. To oversee and ensure the accuracy of department and corporate information for corporate collaterals,reports, publications and information published on the company’s internal and external channels.
  3. To assist HOD to plan, coordinate and organise various corporate/special/ad-hoc events such as GentingGroup Chinese New Year Luncheon and Genting Founder’s Day.
  4. To assist HOD to manage, review and monitor the company’s customer experience & satisfaction system aswell as prepare presentation slides or reports with regards to this system.
  5. To assist and support HOD as a brand guardian to ensure all usage of corporate materials is in accordancewith the corporate guidelines to maintain a consistent corporate image and branding.
  6. To plan, manage and lead the company’s G3 employee programmes.
  7. To assist HOD to monitor, manage and execute community initiatives/programmes related to sustainability.
  8. To prepare content for community engagement section in the Sustainability report on annual basis.
  9. To assist HOD in all crisis management matters including crisis communication and reviewing the guidelineor content of the SOP.
  10. To lead the department’s risk assessment reporting and any other regulatory requirements of the department
  11. Oversees the workflow and work assignments of the corporate communications team to ensure effective collaboration among team members and consistent quality work.

Requirements:
 
  1. Work experience of 8-10 years in corporate communications management.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or similar field.
  3. Experienced in crisis communications management and have the tenacity to craft clear and sharpmessages, FAQs and responses in crisis situations.
  4. Strategic communication skills with strong and good writing skills to craft press release, media FAQs, senior management messages, internal and external communications.
  5. Exceptional English writing and editing skill.
  6. Established contacts with media is an added bonus.
  7. Events management.
  8. Great planning and execution skills to deliver by set deadlines.
  9. Team player with great interpersonal skills to interlock with various business units.
  10. Confidence to interact and engage with senior managements.

  1. Assist HOD to execute corporate support for the department and company such as official correspondences with external parties, memos, letters, presentation slides, translation works and any other similar deliverables on daily basis.
  2. Assist HOD to plan, coordinate and execute various corporate/special/ad-hoc events and meetings at Wisma Genting, Resorts World Genting, other properties of the company or external venues.
  3. Prepare speeches, media releases, corporate profiles, websites, sustainability materials, blogs, newsletters, forewords, editing and translation work, etc.
  4. Assist in planning and executing comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility programmes to enhance the company’s image in the market place.
  5. Assist in planning and executing Genting Green Generation (G3) programmes.
  6. Assist to coordinate all on-site corporate philanthropy initiatives such as conducting visits to homes and charitable organisations on ad-hoc basis, attending monthly sponsor-related events (Press Conference, Mock Cheque Presentation, Awards Ceremony, etc.), organising collection drive, logistic arrangement and photography.
  7. Assist HOD in other areas of corporate support.

Job Requirements:

  1. Preferably Degree in Mass Communication or related field.
  2. At least 2 years working experience in Corporate Communications department.
  3. Possess strong interpersonal skills.
  4. Excellent command of written and verbal communication skills in English.
  5. Should be able to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
  6. Well-organized, meticulous and able to work with less supervision.

Executive – The Visitors’ Galleria
Location: Genting Highlands

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and personable Executive to support the operations of The Visitors’ Galleria. This role will involve a range of administrative tasks, including answering inquiries, maintaining inventory, ensuring the cleanliness of gallery spaces, and providing assistance to visitors. The Executive will play a pivotal role in ensuring a welcoming and informative experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with HOD of Galleria on their daily job
  • Conduct tours to VIPs
  • Provide briefings to tour groups and individuals upon request, offering insights into the history and attractions of Genting Highlands.
  • Greet visitors warmly and assist them with inquiries, providing information about the attractions and facilities of Resorts World Genting.
  • Answer phones, take messages, respond to emails, and handle correspondence in a timely and professional manner. Assist with daily administrative duties to ensure smooth operations of the Galleria.
  • Help to maintain the inventory of exhibition materials, including newspaper clippings, plaques, awards, posters, and other memorabilia. Ensure all items are properly displayed and accounted for.
  • Keep the front desk and gallery spaces tidy and organized, including arranging brochures and pamphlets for easy access by visitors.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure visitors have a positive and memorable experience at the Galleria.
  • In-charge of planning, organizing and implementing administrative task
  • Manage day-to-day Galleria operations
  • Responsible for collection documentation and management

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree holder with minimum two / three years of experience in content-related fields
  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Genting Highlands and its attractions is desirable.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must be fluent in 3 languages, both written and spoken: English, Malay and Mandarin
  • Willing to be based at Genting Highlands Resort
